When I looked for a new birdhouse I couldn’t find one that stopped pigeons taking food from the smaller birds. Instead my husband John cut some dowelling into strips, filed the ends and fixed them into holes along the edge of the birdhouse. Now the smaller birds get stuck into a feast and the pigeons are no longer able to steal all the food.
