Curtain call

Curtain call

I needed new curtains, but the ones in the shops were expensive. I bought a bargain scarf, which I cut in two and hemmed. Then I made a curtain rail out of a length of doweling, which I painted silver. Next, I attached two polystyrene Christmas tree baubles to the ends and made tie-backs from a piece of cord retrieved from the edge of an old cushion. Now I have a new set of curtains for less than £3!
