When I couldn’t find a pastry cutter while baking one day, I decided to improvise. I carefully cut a plastic pop bottle in half using scissors. Then, using the screw top as a handle, I pushed the cut edge of the bottle down on to my rolled-out pastry dough. It was the perfect size and shape for my pie crust.
