Having my roots tinted at the hairdresser’s takes a while, so I usually take my copy of Take a Break with me to read. But I always worry about getting dye on my reading glasses. So, the last time I went, I cut the fingers off a polythene glove and slid them over the arms of my specs. It meant I could enjoy all the brilliant stories in TaB without worrying.
