I needed to get rid of excess fat when cooking bacon and sausages but I didn’t have a griddle. Instead I folded a piece of tin foil in half, then folded it at 1cm intervals like a concertina. Now I can arrange my bacon and sausages on my home-made griddle before I pop them in the oven.
