Amy Rowland
Amy Rowland is the assistant editor of that’s life! Magazine. She’s been at Bauer Media since 2010 and during that time has written for titles including Bella, Closer, Crime Monthly, Crime Scene and Take a Break.
She was inspired to become a journalist by her love of Lois Lane, the character in Superman who is an award-winning writer for the Metropolis newspaper The Daily Planet. She studied journalism at Liverpool John Moores University.
Amy was shortlisted for an award for her exclusive interview with a woman who was abused by Jimmy Savile and most recently interviewed 80s pop icon Rick Astley, who she adored - but was upset she didn’t get a selfie with him. She takes a keen interest in crime documentaries and has recently written about the murder of Jill Dando after Netflix released their latest documentary and Lucy Letby – the nurse who killed innocent children.
When she's not immersed in the world of breaking news and criminal investigations, Amy enjoys unwinding with a glass of fizz. She also loves to travel and isn’t happy unless she’s got her next holiday booked.
