Jade Moscrop

Jade is one of the Commercial Content Editors at Bauer Media, where she oversees the team creating shopping content, buyer’s guides, product reviews and more across the lifestyle portfolio. She predominantly looks after shopping content on Grazia, heat, Closer and Yours, but has contributed to Take A Break Pets in the past.

An animal lover, Jade has owned dogs her entire life, and she definitely prefers them to humans. Her beloved Alaskan Malamute, Frankie, passed away in 2022, so she now spends most of her time asking strangers on the street if she can pet their dogs and obsesses over viral animal videos on TikTok.

Starting as an intern at LADbible Group in 2014, Jade worked her way up the ranks to Staff Writer and Team Leader, before launching the company’s lifestyle vertical, Pretty52 (now known as Tyla). Here, she wrote and edited viral news, celebrity stories, and beauty and fashion content.

In 2017, she spent some time at a marketing agency, before moving down south in 2018 to join Condé Nast as GLAMOUR UK’s Social Editor, where she looked after its social channels and produced trending news.

In 2019, Jade joined the team at Bauer Media, eager to begin recommending brilliant products across make-up and skincare, high-street fashion, homeware, jewellery, and more.

Before venturing into her media career, Jade studied sociology at the University of Liverpool. Armed with an interest in the way people think and act, she still uses this knowledge to inform her content writing and social media endeavours.

In her spare time, you’ll usually find Jade tending to her ever-expanding collection of houseplants, sorting through her overflowing beauty product drawers, out and about on adventures, or what her husband has lovingly dubbed ‘mosh-dancing’ at a gig.
