Whooping, cheering, and waving flags high in the air, thousands of fans gathered for Hot Wheels Stunt Show Live at London's OVO Arena Wembley at the weekend.

I visited with my husband and my two young sons, Odhran, 10, and Reuben, 7, to watch iconic Hot Wheels vehicles roar to life in a stunt show that saw world-class drivers pushing the limits.

At the centre of the performance space stood an awe-inspiring 10-metre-tall 360-degree loop in the brand's signature shade of orange. It was like watching one of Reuben's Hot Wheels sets brought to life on a huge scale.

We were sat high up in the stadium, but the stunts were so big and bold that no matter where you were sat, you had a good view.

Legendary vehicles GT Scorcher, Bone Shaker and Roger Dodger roared into action, much to Reuben's delight. He gasped and turned to me with a 'woah' expression on his face many times during the show.

There was a big screen and two presenters in the audience to whip up excitement in the crowd. At one point, roaming cameras captured kids dancing, and Odhran and Reuben were giving it socks, desperate to see themselves on the big screen.

The show ran for about two hours, with a 20 minute interval, and during this time the vehicles had 10 challenges to complete.

Hot Wheels cars, Street Bikes and ATVs defied gravity with backflips, daring ramp jumps and the finale was of course the 360-degree loop.

This was full-throttle thrills for fans of all ages, and Odhran and Reuben loved every minute of it.

If your child is a fan of Hot Wheels, then a live show is not to be missed. But be prepared - there will be merch on sale so factor that in, alongside the venue's cost of snacks during the interval. At OVO Arena we paid £23 for two hotdogs and £10 for a small bag of pick'n'mix.

If you're keen to get in on some Hot Wheels action, Monster Trucks Live will be returning for a UK tour from January to April 2026.

Following the success of Glow-N-Fire, which won the Pollstar Family Show of the Year Award, Monster Trucks Live will continue the momentum into the new year by introducing an all-new truck to the tour - Rhinomite (the dynamite Rhino themed truck. Rhinomite explodes on the scene with a mission to destroy the competition.

This exciting new experience will feature never before seen stunts performed by the Hot Wheels Monster Trucks, as well as the all-new no-handed front flip performed by the FMX riders.
