Famed for its idyllic setting, world-class artists and family-friendly atmosphere, Latitude is one of those festivals that has a little something for everyone – and this year’s 20th anniversary promises to be the best yet.
To mark its big birthday, headliners such as David Byrne, Teddy Swims and Lewis Capaldi – as well as a host of other artists- will take to the stages across Thursday 23rd – Sunday 26th July.
But this four-day festival is about more than just music. It’s also hosting huge names in comedy such as Lenny Henry and Sarah Pascoe as well as theatre, dance, literature and family entertainment.
Since its debut in 2006, one of Latitude’s standout qualities has always been its family-friendlessness.

The festival has long been recognised for its extensive children’s programme, with dedicated family areas packed with activities, workshops, storytelling, theatre, outdoor adventures and creative play.
Little ones will love forest adventures hosted by The Woodcraft folk, rap sessions with MC Grammar and the minibeast safari. For budding performers, there are beginners breakdancing and ukulele sessions, plus a chance to learn choreography and songs from the musicals. Teens can take the plunge with supervised lake swims (16 plus) and paddle boarding (with parental supervision).

Family camping options and facilities designed specifically for parents make it easier than ever to enjoy a festival weekend together.
Big Green coach is the festival’s official travel partner, with purse-friendly direct travel to Cambridge, London, Norwich and other destinations. The site is also accessible by car (or bike), or from the nearby Halesworth train station.
Adult day tickets cost £115, children (5-12) £18. Under 5’s free. Adult weekend camping £320 each, children from £28.
