I wanted to do a fun craft activity with my grandson, Treeve. We blew up a balloon before covering it in papier mâché. Once it had dried hard, we popped the balloon to leave the shell. We decorated it with strips of old fabric, edging each strip with string so it looked like a hot air balloon. We used wires to attach a red plastic cup underneath our balloon. I think it looks brilliant!
