On a shopping trip, I got chatting to a stall-holder who was selling old pillowcases at a knock-down price. I bought some and when I arrived home, I unpicked the fabric, so I had one long rectangular piece. I folded this in half and sewed all the way around the edges. Now I have a brightly-coloured scarf for just 20 pence!
