My clothes prop kept sliding down my washing line, collapsing whenever I pegged laundry to it. But my husband had a great idea. He had some clips normally used for connecting car wires, and fixed them on to the line either side of where I put the prop. Now if it moves, the connectors stop it from sliding too far either way and my line stays upright.
