My son Oliver, eight, wanted to make a toy for our cats. He used empty boxes to make a tank shape, then covered it in papier mâché. Once it had dried, he painted on a camouflage design. Next he wound string around toilet roll tubes for a scratching post, which he stuck on the front. Finally, he added a pom-pom on the end. The cats love it!
