My son had a skateboard that he never used, and it seemed a shame to throw it away. Instead, I decided to turn it into a shelf for his room. I used two brackets to attach the skateboard to the wall. Then I added some hooks to the brackets to hang his caps from. His new shelf has added lots of character — and helps him to keep his bedroom tidy, too!
