Paw little baby

My dog Milo didn't like having a bandage on his paw when it was sore. Instead I bought some cotton baby mittens which were easier to put on and didn't bother him one bit! Ann Kennedy, East Kilbride, S Lanarks

My dog was always curling up on the conservatory sofa, but it meant I had to keep washing the covers. Instead, I decided to create a dog-proof cover instead. I found an old shower curtain and threaded some shoelaces through the holes to secure it over the back of the sofa. I placed an old rug on the seat and now my sofa stays clean!Lesley Lea, Chardstock, Devon

I wanted to give my rescue dog Boris a new home under the stairs. I glued some old pieces of board up to form a house with a window. I added the skirting board and painted it. Then I cut birds out of wallpaper and put them in the tree I'd painted. Finally, I placed blankets, throws and pillows inside. Sharon Busby, Gillingham, Kent

I wanted to reduce the number of disposable poop bags I used when I was out with my dog Betsy. I took a two-litre carton of milk. Then, I cut it in half along a diagonal line to make a poop scoop! Now I can simply scoop up Betsy's mess. The carton can be cleaned and used again, which means I've reduced my plastic waste. Lauren Haywood, Sandwell, Birmingham

We wanted to give our Lhasa Apso, Henrietta, somewhere cosy to curl up this winter, so my husband Glenn revamped an old TV unit. He took off the doors and sanded down the wood so it was nice and smooth. Then he put all her toys in a crate on the top shelf and turned the bottom one into a cosy dog bed. Henrietta can't get enough! Tiffany Crawford, Scarborough, N Yorks
