Renault Scenic E-Tech wins Parkers’ Best Medium Family Car 2026
Take a Break has teamed up for the first time with Parkers – the definitive resource for car-buying advice in the UK – to bring you the Best Medium Family Car in the Parkers New Car Awards 2026. The winner is the brilliant Renault Scenic E-Tech, one of 12 award-winning cars announced today.
The Scenic E-Tech took this title last year – and 12 months on, it’s still unbeatable. Packed with clever features, great to drive and excellent value for money, it’s the perfect all-rounder for families who want space, style and zero-emission motoring.
Renault has made it easy to live with too. Lease one for under £300 per month, or pick up a 0% APR PCP deal from as little as £108 per month. Inside, it’s full of smart touches designed with parents in mind – from big, wide-opening doors and loads of storage to an enormous 545-litre boot. There’s even a rear armrest that hides phone mounts and USB chargers to keep everyone entertained on long trips.
Out on the road, the Scenic E-Tech mixes comfort and fun beautifully. It’s quiet, nimble and surprisingly playful for a family car – proof that electric doesn’t have to mean boring.
Keith Adams, Editor of Parkers, says:
“The Renault Scenic E-Tech is the family car that really can do it all. It’s spacious, safe, affordable and fun to drive. Renault’s electric know-how shines through – this is one of the most complete cars on sale today.”
Now in its ninth year, the Parkers New Car Awards 2026 celebrate the cars that make everyday life easier. Winners are chosen through thousands of miles of testing and insights from more than 2.5 million Parkers users who are actively looking for their next car.
